3-4 Bedrooms • 2.5-3 Bathrooms • 2,664 SQFT
This spacious house plan was first brought to us by a Texas A&M graduate. In true Aggie tradition, the home spreads out, making a bold statement and taking command of the entire space available. In previous builds, we’ve situated it on a cul-de-sac lot. As subdivision land in Lake Jackson begins to disappear, one client has chosen to build this home out in Oakwood Shores (Richwood).
This plan would also be perfect for Angleton’s Bar-X, Thousand Oaks, or your own slice of Texas acreage anywhere you’ve chosen to call home. We take the overwhelm out of building on your own land, as we deal with HOA and other code requirements. This peace of mind is especially important after recent flooding in the Brazosport area.
As with all of our plans, we work with clients to adjust spaces and tweak layout to fit a specific family’s needs. Thus, this plan has been built with both 3 and 4 bedrooms downstairs and either 2.5 or 3 bathrooms. We can finish out the generous bonus space upstairs or simply build the stairs and deck the floor so it functions as storage until you’re ready to turn it into additional living space.
The centrally located kitchen keeps the cook close to the conversation. The custom kitchen cabinetry can be upgraded to reach all the way to the 10-foot ceiling, where we can install glass doors lit up from behind.
The oversized island offers eating room for four and will be tailored to fit your #kitchengoals. In one of our builds of this plan, we installed Carrara-styled quartz countertops and a white apron sink, and the result was a gorgeous showcase of the hottest trends in kitchens. This plan also allows for the popular wall oven/microwave combo, leaving your vent hood space available to feature Pinterest-worthy cabinetry.
The large mudroom / laundry area right off the garage entrance is perfect for a growing family. And the large walk-in pantry ensures you’ll have plenty of space to store what you need to feed your crew.
The private owner retreat features a spa-like soaking tub, custom walk-in shower, and a generous master closet. Standard features unique to Heritage include built-ins in the master closet, additional custom cabinetry over the toilets, and tiled shower and tub surrounds.
The vaulted porch makes a grand entrance while a covered back patio offers ample room for grilling and entertaining. A fence to protect your family and secure your privacy is something we consider standard — not an additional upgrade.
We will work with you to choose a color palette that beckons you home. Most clients gravitate toward the muted grays or taupes, but the subcontractors we work with can accomplish any vision, including glazing your cabinetry for that one-of-a-kind effect.
In the gathering spaces, our expert flooring craftsmen install wood-look tile according to our custom instructions to simulate the look of real wood. Carpet is standard in the sleeping spaces, but you can choose to carry the tile into these areas as well. One client asked for the tile in the master but kept carpet in the kids’ bedrooms.
Finish out your custom design by choosing from our entire suite of upgrades that include the latest in smart home hardware, accent lighting, surround audio engineering, and even a foray into the world of autonomous, robotic technology with Apple's Siri, Google's Home, and Amazon's Alexa.
