Amarillo

The inaugural build of the Amarillo is the personal home of our Design Team Director. After living in the Topaz and refining it over the years, she took all her notes and wishlist items and started from scratch on the forever home. 

It is now a signature plan showcasing many of the features and craftsmanship exclusive to Heritage. Downstairs can hold four bedrooms (two of which are private suites). Or need office space? The room off the foyer is perfect for that. Upstairs has room for another living area, multiple bedrooms or offices, a kitchenette, and even a sitting area off one bedroom that could be used as a nursery. 

The cathedral ceiling kitchen is the first thing you see after walking through the large open foyer. The kitchen features a sink on the back wall accented with tall picture windows; it is everyone’s favorite space. The butler pantry offers additional counter space to spread out small appliances and generous storage for when you host large gatherings. Speaking of hosting… did you see the space for TWO dishwashers? 

The kitchen flows into the dining space, which is anchored by a drink bar. This open area combined with the large living room has easily hosted 50 people. The media wall is also a new design which we’ve now implemented in other plans after clients saw it and loved it. 

The main ensuite has its own door to the back porch. The walk-in shower, spa-like soaking tub, his-and-her vanities, and signature hair cabinet are client favorites. Across the house is another guest suite with private bath. Because this bed/bath is often used by visiting grandparents, it has been dubbed the “Grand suite.” 

Don’t overlook the large pass-through laundry room. The circular flow of this space as it relates to everything else on this side of the house is true genius. But wait! That’s not even the favorite pass-through. Notice the back entrance in the office, allowing the owner to easily get back and forth to the main suite.  

Add to all of this more closet space (and safe room) than you can imagine, and you’ll be challenged to ever run out of room for storage. But just in case you are up for that challenge, there is the walk-out attic over the garage -- perfect for additional storage since it is climate-controlled with spray foam.

We’ve even worked with mortgage lenders to identify the best products that allow you to purchase the land and the home all at the same time, potentially saving thousands of dollars in closing costs.
