So over the last few years and builds, we developed a step-by-step process to help you enjoy the journey. It’s the process we wished we had when we built our own homes. Our secret weapon is a dedicated design team who meets around a table with you at each phase. Some clients even report back that they miss the time with our team. 

Exterior & Mechanicals

  • Our team knows how to help you make a good first impression with the curb appeal of your home. 

  • Once we know the color lane you want to be in, we give you a list of addresses where you can see brick, stone, and siding paint colors we recommend that you consider. Sure, you can look at photos, but there’s no substitute for seeing these elements in real life. 

  • The design team also looks at the function of the house with window placement, door swings, and other areas that could end up in the “regret” column if you didn’t know to ask the question at the beginning. 

  • The plumbing and electrical plans for your house are equally important but often get relegated to an afterthought because they are not the “fun” stuff. The Heritage design team works with you to look at these important aspects in depth and discover your needs, so the home works for YOU. 

Cabinetry & Closets

  • All our cabinetry is custom-built after you spend a full design session with our team to define what you want in your home. 

  • Our design team has experience that runs deep and wide in crafting a plan for how to make your home work well and look beautiful simultaneously.  

  • We have become known for our unique designs such as the hair cabinet and specialty kitchen drawers as well as reverse engineering difficult Pinterest inspo ideas like hidden pantries and media walls. 

  • But wait, there’s more! It’s like having your own personal closet ninja. As part of our process, we help you think through your storage needs and then propose designs to organize the space to accommodate your needs. 

Counters, Tile & Paint

  • We often hear that we are the only builder who goes to the tile store with their clients to help them choose tile and paint.  

  • We help bring your vision to life ... or if you don't have a vision ... we guide you to discover yours by asking all the right questions. 

  • When it comes to bathrooms, you’ll get our full attention to help get all the details of this important space right. We start with discussing the shower head types and control locations, placement of the niche, a bench if needed, and then we meet you at the tile store to help bring the design together with all the finishing touches.
